This past weekend, on Sunday, June 10th, Britannia Yacht Club, located on the Ottawa River, celebrated its 125-year anniversary. "Black Jack" was invited to join the festivities as a yacht. "Black Jack"'s home port is located at the Club.
The Fuller family have been club members for generations. Captain Thomas Fuller, Royal Canadian Navy Volunteer Reserve (RCNVR) and the patron of Bytown Brigantine, was Commodore of the Club. His son, Simon Fuller, has also been Commodore of the Club.
On Sunday Simon and his family hosted Bytown Brigantine volunteers and guests on a day voyage to Pinhey's Point and back, participating in the Club festivities.
