A weekend trip aboard the Black Jack Island Adventure Program is a great team building experience for any group. Spending a weekend aboard the biggest and best tall ship on the Ottawa River is something you won’t soon forget.

Friday  

• Participants join ship around 1830hrs. (Britannia Yacht Club 2777 Cassels Street)  
• Participants sign in and are split into 3 watches (groups)  
• Crew and crew in training take their watch through the safety procedures necessary for the safe operation of the ship.
• Evening spent participating in tall ship Olympics and wide games  
• Lights out @ approx 2300hrs  

Saturday

• All hands are woken at 0715hrs  
• Hands to colours for 0800hrs  
• Breakfast 0815  
• Happy hour (30 minute clean up)  
• Morning activity – some will go whaler sailing, some will go Black Jack Sailing  
• Lunch 1200hrs  
• Afternoon activity - some will go whaler sailing, some will go Black Jack Sailing  
• Dinner 1730hrs  
• Evening sail or evening activity  
• Evening snack 2000hrs  
• Nautical lesson  
• Wide game  
• Lights out 2300hrs  

Sunday  

• All hands are woken at 0715hrs  
• Hands to colours for 0800hrs  
• Breakfast 0815  
• Happy hour (30 minute clean up)  
• Morning activity – some will go whaler sailing, some will go Black Jack Sailing  
• Lunch 1200hrs  
• Afternoon activity - some will go whaler sailing, some will go Black Jack Sailing  
• Participants prepare to leave by 1400hrs  

Please note that this schedule is subject to weather and the attitude of the group. Nothing is set in stone and must remain flexible given the dependency on the weather.  

Details regarding a weekend trip  

The cost of the trip is $140/per person with a maximum number of participants being 15 including any chaperons. This cost includes all food, training and accommodation.
