Become part of our team.
While our tall ships sail into adventure using the power of the winds, the world-renowned Bytown Brigantine programs run on the power of volunteerism.
We especially need committed volunteers to help us carry out the many tasks that support our sailing programs – from maintenance to administration, from driving to staffing our offices. If you have a few hours a week to spare and like to work with passionate and committed people, then we have a spot for you.
Our seamanship and leadership courses can only be delivered when members of our community step forward, shoulder to shoulder and make possible brighter futures for our youth. Our volunteers fire imaginations, demonstrate leadership and inspire our young participants. Without
them, we would never leave port.
If you want to lend a hand, there are as many different jobs at Bytown Brigantine as there are ropes on a tall ship. Above all we need administrative, maintenance, teaching, public relations and marketing skill sets. If you are active and love the outdoors, you can help us prepare our tall ships for our summer programs and then ready them for their winter sleep each year or even work aboard Fair Jeanne or Black Jack during the summer. What ever your skill, what ever your age, we need your help.
