Get Involved – Volunteer with Bytown Brigantine

It takes a lot of hours to keep the Bytown Brigantine programs and foundation going. Most of our people are volunteers.

We rely on volunteers to help us in the office, shipyard, and aboard ship throughout the entire year. The majority of volunteer positions require a commitment of working three or four hours per week or even more if you can.

We also have many weekend work parties for those who can show up and lend a hand where many volunteers are needed for the day.

As a registered volunteer you will receive an orientation to Bytown Brigantine, including a Risk and Safety Awareness presentation.

Bytown also has memberships available that help fund our bursary programs for those needing a hand up.

Whether you are a professional or a homemaker, retired or work full-time, a teacher or student, Bytown Brigantine needs your skills and talents.
