Volunteer Application

The majority of Bytown’s volunteer positions require a commitment of one year working three to four hours per week.

Before completing an application we ask that you read carefully Volunteer Roles and Volunteer Openings for you to participate as a volunteer.

You will be asked to specify the volunteer opening you are applying for on the application.

To help out at Work Parties you do not need to complete a volunteer application form. Just let the office know you are coming.

The Volunteer Application Form is for those seeking a Volunteer Position with Bytown.

To apply to be a volunteer, we ask that you read and click of the “I Agree” button to access an application form.

 Initial Volunteer Agreement 

1) If I become a volunteer, I agree to a minimum one-year commitment.

2) As a volunteer, I will attend orientation and training.

3) Since I may be working with minors, I also agree to provide references.

4) Were necessary, I will submit to a police records check.

5) As a volunteer I will be dependable, reliable and professional.

6) I agree to the above and wish to complete an application. If you agree and cannot apply online, please call our office.
