Our Adventure Sailing Camps offer youth ages 12–14 a unique blend of sailing, outdoor exploration, teamwork, and leadership. No prior sailing experience is needed — just curiosity and a sense of adventure.

Campers spend their days on the water aboard a 27-foot sailboat, learning the basics of sailing, building confidence, making new friends, and exploring Ottawa’s beautiful riverfront. It’s the perfect introduction to maritime adventure and, for some, a pathway to future tall-ship experiences aboard Fair Jeanne.

How The Week Runs

Our camps follow a structured 5-day schedule combining day programming with a memorable overnight adventure:

• Monday–Wednesday:
  Day programming (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) based at Britannia Yacht Club. Campers focus on rowing and sailing skills, water safety, teamwork, and on-water exploration.

​

• Thursday:
  Full day of programming followed by transition into our overnight camping experience. Campers take part in evening activities, dinner, and a supervised overnight stay.

• Friday:
  Campers return from the overnight experience for a final day of programming, reflection, and celebration. Pickup at 5:00 p.m.

 

Inclusions:

• Daily programming (Mon–Fri, approx. 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

• Lunch provided each day

• One overnight experience (Thursday)

• Dinner (Thursday) and breakfast (Friday)
