During this 10 immersive days aboard Fair Jeanne, trainees step into the role of crew—learning, leading, and living the realities of life at sea. This is not a passive experience; it’s hands-on, high-impact sail training where every participant plays a vital role. Trainees will practice advanced maneuvers, raise and lower sails, and take part in real-time safety scenarios while sailing through rivers, island channels, and open water. Each day builds both technical skill and leadership capacity, with opportunities to teach peers, take initiative, and understand the full operation of a working tall ship. You will progress through the BBI Logbook levels, they develop confidence, accountability, and professional seamanship skills in an authentic maritime environment.

This isn’t your typical team environment. On a tall ship, everyone is essential and plays an active role in sailing the ship.
